While many people live in a tiny house full-time, for Joel and Emma, it serves as a temporary residence while they build a larger house nearby. But considering that’ll take some time to complete, it was important for them to give their kids a comfortable and safe place to call home.

This couple could’ve gone with any design but the farmhouse caught their eye. When finished, it was more than they dreamed of. Living in a tiny house also taught the entire family some valuable lessons. They became more organized, patient, and accommodating.

Since Joel, Emma, and their two children will live in the tiny house for quite a while, the overall design was important. With some tweaking here and there, they ended up with a gorgeous home but without compromising on efficiency and functionality.

Small touches are what make a house a home. This farmhouse-style tiny house boasts window planter boxes, an awning over the front door, and even adorable shutters. For added convenience, they added a picnic table for outdoor dining.

The couple enclosed their tiny home inside a fence. They added playground equipment, a trampoline, and a sandbox. With everything combined, they might find it hard to leave this home.

Joel and Emma went to great lengths to make this farmhouse-style tiny house look and feel as though it was normal size. The living space is quite impressive. Upstairs, the girls have ample room to sleep and play.

The inside is just as impressive as the outside. The layout makes this home feel open. It has a full kitchen, dining area, bedrooms, and bathroom…everything you’d find in a traditional home.

Using vertical space gives them plenty of storage. The children have books on wall shelves and under the stairs leading to their bedroom are smart cubbies. This farmhouse-style tiny house is beyond incredible.
